Set your affections not on the things of this earth, but on things which are above, where your life is hid with God in Christ. And when Christ, who is your life shall appear, then shall ye also appear with Him in Glory.
God is not looking for compliance or alliance, but agreement!
Far too long many have tired to live a dual life by saying, in the day of salvation, "I gave my life to The Lord".
The revelation is, this is not a true statement, saying or confession. The reality is, He gave us His life as we died to ours! There was no hand off but a paid ransom; His life for our death.
Our life had no value, as it was full of sin, wickedness, perversion, uncleanness, ungodly, fleshly, full of fornication, adultery, lies, cheating, stealing, murders, hatred, rebellion, evil imaginations, envy, strife, contention, pride, boasters, unholy, lovers of the creation more than of the creator and much more. So ask yourself the question - what would God possibly want with such a life that had and showed no value to Him; basically dead to Him?
But glory be to God and His Son Jesus Christ that He has appointed heir of all the Kingdom, that for us to live He showed us how to die, that in dying to our life we gained HIS LIFE: for he that looses his life for my sake, the same shall save it; therefore, deny yourself and pick up your cross and follow me, saith The Lord God.
Our identity is now He in whom we have received and believed; thus death has no more power over us - I have been crucified with Christ, yet I live. But yet not I, but the Christ that liveth in me. Therefore I live by Grace of God, who loved me and gave His life for me --- hallelujah, selah!
When conformity to this world over takes one, oh how soon we forget; we have looked into the perfect law of liberty and beheld our face, then walk away and forget what manner of person we are - for I have said ye are gods and children of the most High. But ye shall die like men and fall like one of the princes, saith God.
Therefore Children Of the most High, beloved of God the Father and His Christ, how can two walk together accept they be agreed? This agreement must be in death and in life.
Let us therefore give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at anytime we let them slip.
